Professors that inspire: Denise Dunlap
I wanted to give a shout out to one of my professors at Northeastern University for her amazing work in the field of international business.
Professor Dunlap is one of the most inspiring people I’ve come across and I’d like to share with you her most recent work which was featured in the United Nations’ World Investment Report 2011.
Professor Dunlap-Hinkler’s primary research interests are (1) in international strategy with a focus on subsidiary knowledge transfer and capabilities, (2) on global innovation and entrepreneurship and (3) international cross-cultural management including emerging markets. Specifically, she is interested in cross-national knowledge transfer practices and how they affect firm-level innovation and entrepreneurship for small and large firms. She is currently teaching courses on international business and corporate social responsibility.
She has been honored and awarded multiple times by the academic and scholar society, and her research has been featured in many majors publications such as:
- Journal of International Management
- Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal
- Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies
For those of you who would like to know more about her, please check out her academic profile at Northeastern University.
